Current Beauty Favorites

Holy Moly! It's been nine months since my last blog and youtube update! I can't believe how fast time flies. i'll be sure to upload a video on my current beauty favorites, but for now enjoy the new blog post!

Here are a few of my current beauty faves!

1. Marc Jacobs Lola Perfume This warm floral bouquet conveys the free spirit of today's sexy, modern girl - she is playful, cool, and flirtatious. The long-lasting, day-and-night scent opens with pink peppercorn, pear, and ruby red grapefruit. Blooming midnotes of rose, fuschia peony, and geranium make a feminine statement. Layers of vanilla, warm tonka bean, and creamy musk create a sensuous drydown.
The bottle's exquisite, multi-layered cap is a bursting bouquet with bright modern colors that pop against a matte black background and rope-inspired, gold metallic neck. The silhouette is inspired by Marc's fashion collection.

2. Diorshow Mascara
love how thick my lashes get after two layers with this mascara. a bit pricey, but worth it.

3. Chanel Powder Foundation
if you want the perfect matte flawless finish, this is the powder for you. it took me a long time to find the perfect makeup powder to set my liquid foundation with, and this is it! my face makeup will stay on the whole day because of this product. five stars!

4. Smashbox Halo Bronzer
for those of you who are around MAC's NC30-NC42 shades, this bronzer will give you the best sunkissed look. I also use this for contour around my face, nose, even as eyeshadow! whaaat?!

5. Dior Rosy Glow
if you have MAC's pink swoon blush, this is very similar to that color...however, you have to be very careful applying this dior blush, if you apply too much, your cheeks will glow bright pink.

6. The Balm Tinted Moisturizer - light/medium
i finally found the perfect tinted moisturizer! it gives me the perfect coverage, enough to cover the visible veins on my chubby cheeks. it also helps moisturize, especially during the cold season. Unfortunately, this product only comes in three shades, light, light/medium, and medium.

7. Fresh Sugar Honey Lip Balm
i do not go anywhere without this product. let me repeat, i do not go anywhere without this product! the worse feeling for me is having super dry-cracked lips. yuck! wind burn? no thanks.

8. MAC Studio Concealer NC30
i have been using this sucker for years, i think since i was in high school. its amazing for covering under eye circles, blemishes, even all the tiny fine hair under the brows.

9. Sephora Liquid Liner
love the way this glides perfectly on my eyes to create my everyday go-to cat eyes. It has a matte finish that stays on all day.

10. Sephora by OPI - Don't Feed The Hand Models
my everyday nail color, can't get enough of this polish...my nails look clean and pretty!

hope you all enjoyed this blog. definitely check out these products if you haven't. you will love it!

3rd time trying to comment LOL totally worth it, though ; ) anyway, these are great picks especially the eyeliner from Sephora. I reviewed their "flashy waterproof" liner because i loved it, and the one you picked looked great in your latest tutorial!

I adore that Chanel Double Perfection Matte powder!

I bought it July 2011, and when I finally ran out of it in Oct 2012 (and i used it nearly every time i wore makeup) I was shocked when I was unable to find it anywhere! I finally found it at Bergdorfs. It is seriously the best powder EVER! I'm not sure if chanel is going to discontinue it, but I think I may have to buy some refills just incase!!!! It's expensive but it lasted me a over a year, so for fifty dollars it money well spent!

I love this post. I love how you take every compartment and break it down for people who really don’t understand makeup. This is a brilliant post!
